High Accountability

The Healing Place Men’s Sober Living is a High Accountability environment focused on long-term sobriety and successful assimilation into everyday life. While there is plenty of opportunity for the men to work, go to school, spend time with friends and family, there will be every day requirements based on each man’s effort and phase of recovery.

 

Phase I:

  • No less than 4 meetings a week
  • Weekly Community Meeting, Accountability, and Fellowship
  • Deep clean of house
  • Up and out by 9:00 AM (Work, School, Searching for Work)
    • Morning Prayer and Meditation
    • Personal Hygiene
    • Bed made
    • Chores complete
  • Curfew
    • 10 PM on weekdays
    • 11 PM on weekends

Phase II:

  • No less than 3 meetings a week
  • Weekly service commitment
  • Actively working the 12 steps with a sponsor
  • Weekly Community Meeting, Accountability, and Fellowship
  • Deep clean of house
  • Up and out by 9:00 AM (Work, School, Searching for Work)
    • Morning Prayer and Meditation
    • Personal Hygiene
    • Bed made
    • Chores complete
  • Curfew
    • 10 PM on weekdays
    • 12 PM on weekends

Phase III:

  • No less than 2 meetings a week
  • Weekly service commitment
  • Actively working the 12 steps with a sponsor
  • Weekly Community Meeting, Accountability, and Fellowship
  • Deep clean of house
  • Up and out by 9:00 AM (Work, School, Searching for Work)
    • Morning Prayer and Meditation
    • Personal Hygiene
    • Bed made
    • Chores complete
  • Curfew
    • 11 PM on weekdays
    • 1 AM on weekends

All residents will:

  • Be regularly tested for drugs and alcohol
  • Participate in a weekly, formal accountability session along with daily accountability by their peers
  • Regularly meet with a Sober Coach and a Life Coach to assist in their recovery and life skills
  • Be subject to behavioral contracts and/or consequences due to infractions
  • Asked to commit to at least 90 days
